Now in its second year, the 2008 UH KIDS FIRST! Film Festival expanded to include a special series for girls during Women’s History Month in March, entitled GRLS r GR8! Total participation for all of the films in 2008 was approximately 1,175 children and adults.

Age-appropriate groupings of classic, independent, short and sneak preview films entertain through a balance of animation and live action, plus varied themes from different cultures.
